What / who do they sound like? I've heard of them but never had the opportunity to actually hear them myself.

I loved it for a while, but I some of it gets old kinda quickly. That "Reformat (Dramatic Reading)" thing is the worst, but it's easy enough to skip it.

"We'll Make a Lover of You" is a great song. There are some others on there, too.

I really love your avatar, Drinky. Did you design it?

Thanks, but no, I didn't design it. I just colored a drawing of the character Drinky Crow from the comic strip Maakies. It's where my SN comes from. I used to love that strip, but I actually haven't read it in close to a year. I think it pops up in Vice from timt to time, or at least it did for a little while.

'The Sweat Descends' might be the best song I've heard this year.

They run a new Maakies in the LA Weekly every week - not in the online version, though...
And I highly enjoy "Inches" - All of the newer songs are amazing. I hope they put out another album, as word has it they're already preparing to go down the path to breaking-up...

You've only chosen to ignore the bi-monthly threads devoted to the loveliness of this record. That's cool; you're right on schedule.

I think I'm going to get this. Seen 'em live 2x, and loved every minute of it. Have never heard a single second of their recorded output.

I've got it if you want....Though I have never actually listened to it, I may rectify tomorrow.
