I'm shocked the Chargers are getting as much play as they are. They won the division last year with 2 victories vs above 500 teams & 1 only of those was a playoff team. And if you saw that game you know Denver handed it to them in the final minutes after the Broncos had beat them in Mile High. The schedule isn't as favorable this year. They have to go to NY & play a Jets team who beat them twice in SD last year (including in the playoffs), to Foxboro, to Indy & to Philly & home vs Pittsburgh & Buffalo. That plus the 2 with Denver give them 8 games vs quality opponets, last year counting the playoff loss they they went 2-5 vs quality opponents with both victories with at home. That means they have 2 more regular season games vs good teams, 2 more potential losses. And the 4 victories vs the combined 12-20 KC & Oak won't be as easy this year

there's nothing on the vikings or dolphins message board over on espn...nothing on google...nothing on the herald.com. in other words...nothing to worry about. there will be no trade until the end of this season.

Which is why they'll trade him. The fantasy guys on Foxsports were writing about this. Makes sense--too much bad chemistry in Miami, and a solid alternative who's already got to start the first four games.

Minnesota doesn't seem to give a crap about chemistry, nor about dealing with RB's serving four game suspensions. The purple backfield is a mess.

but they won't trade him until the end of the season. it's pretty well known in south florida that this is the plan.
he's already been welcomed back open arms by the team/media/fans. his best chance for a continued nfl career is to have a solid nfl season and hope he gets some interest (looking at you, al davis) at the end of this season. miami is paying him next to nothing this year...there is no reason to trade now. and there is no reason not to have a ronnie brown/ricky williams backfield this season.

Why are the Vikings such a trendy pick? I hope people keep having faith in this misguided team. They're the VIKINGS. They always find a way to blow it. The only big game they've won is beating the Packers this past year. MAybe that was the turning point in their history, but they've always been failures and I don't expect this year to be any different.

NFC NORTH: Packers.

That's the only pick I'll give right now.

The Vikings are a solid pick because they have 3 front-line running backs, a Top 5 QB, a monster O-line, and a completely revitalized Defense; coaching is the Vikings only potential weakness (which, sorry to all my Loozeeanna brothers----this is why I can't pick the Saints to do anything better than 8-8, coaching wil buy you a couple wins and teams like the Vikings and Saints----BLECH. *vomits*

I don't see how one could have faith in Tice. He's always found a way to blow it no matter how much luck falls into their laps. The inventor of "The Randy Ratio." Appeasement is not how to topple a dictator. Maybe he's learned though and it's finally time for this troubled franchise to step back into the spotlight. I'm just not yet a believer. Maybe this season will do some convincing (probably one of the weakest, though most competitive division in football.)

1. Packers
2. Vikings
3. Lions
4. Bears

I don't think it will look any different than that. The Pack and the Vikes will be neck and neck, and even though Vikes have long been Favre's nemesis he will overcome somehow, even if it takes an Arizona Cardinal fluke interception touchdown return or whatever it was to win the division one last time.

I think Moss' departure will make the Vikes a better team. Tice can put the offensive focus on Daunte, where it's always belonged.

Go Pack. I love how Favre is calling out Javon Walker publicly.

I think he's referring to my love of trading pogs.

But seriously, I didn't enjoying watching NFL until the Packers. It's the environment up here... there's nothing better going on, and people just get into it more.

But Vick is VERY entertaining. I enjoy him.

Buffalo (my hometown) is very similar, the whole town lives and dies with the team.

And I'm pleasantly surprised so many people here picked the Bills to either win the division or make the playoffs. You guys have higher expectations than I do. I have a bad feeling JP Losman is gonna have some growing pains that will cost them some wins, especially early in the season. Though I do think Kelly Holcomb, if given a shot (I say he gets one by week 5) could produce nicely. Either way, I'd be absolutely thrilled with a wild card.

On the Ricky trade scenario, I don't see the 'fins trading him until after the season. His trade value is at rock bottom right now. After the season, if he has a return to form, they could get a ton more for him.

P.S. I hate the dolphins
