I like this album; pretty nifty; BTW was this album, Beulah, Ike Reilly, Brendon Benson, & Bobby Bare Jr's stuff all recorded by the same band, because its all really similiar though for me right now thats not necessarily a bad thing....

he's a hot little number right now, touring with every big name out there. i gave the album a spin a couple months agoand then lost it in the abyss of my (tiny) room. will look for it tonight -- i remember liking it.

I didn't have to have it after I saw them live, but through the magic of Clever Cactus, I acquired it and now it's rocketing up the list. Definitely top 10 material. Sounds like Chris Martin singing decent lyrics with an interesting band.

Yeah, I was going to say a little too harmless Radiohead, but I do like certain songs. But tracks like, I think, "These Are Your Friends" I can't stand.

Yeah, the jury's out on that one... but I actually like that whole song up until they suck it up Hey Jude-style at the end.
