are we basing this whole non-tipping thing on her show? Well, that's a little bit different that what i got from earlier comments. I bet she probably tips when she's not trying to keep a budget for the sake of television (overcompensating, perhaps? maybe she tips her servers when the cameras are off?). On the other hand, it is still encouraging people not to tip, and there is still any evidence that she does in act tip. so i'm conflicted on this extremely trivial issue.

it's funny but i don't consider it a trivial isssue at all. it's one of those very telling this about a person's personality. not rachel ray but like, real people in real life. i can't deal with people who undertip.

my mom was a waitress so i'm pretty sensitive to the tipping thing. people love to dump on waitstaff expecting them to be their personal slaves or something.

I've really own seen this chick's show once - I watched it cuz she went to Rick Nielsen's ( Cheap Trick ) pizza joint.
