yeah. actually, there are 4 bands. this show was meant to be at the metro, but I guess they didn't sell enough tickets (the fuck?), so they moved it to the double door, and now tfc is headlining a bill w/ evan dando playing 3rd.

apparently, evan dando only sold 80 for double door. i never heard a number for teenage fanclub. the thing is that i was supposed to spin records at smartbar for the after-party. and i guess that's not happening now.

oooh...you WILL have such a good time. make sure norman smiles and nods at you. he's really good at connecting with the audience members.

the rosebuds are great also.

if you want them to sing "what you do to me" and it's not on the setlist, you will have to take it upon yourself to start singing it out loud.

hope you have a most bitchin' time. it will be worth the $25, it that's what you paid.

my god what a show. they sounded awesome, and the vocals...my god. the harmonies were spot on. the double door crowd was pretty good, some talking, more energy at the foot of the stage, but all in all a great time. those fucking vocal harmonies though...christ. just obscene.

evan dando came up from downstairs and stood right in front of me during Star Sign. dude is still rockin the 1992 greasy long hair. he didn't look too excited to be shaking people's hands as they passed him. we got there at the tail end of his set.

yeah, he was apparently a jerk. one of my friends asked to get a picture with him and he was like, "no." and then he literally bumped into her twice later on. oh well.
