Personally, I should be working. I have a lot to do but for some reason can't keep Obner minimized for very long. You're all going to get me fired!

should be working, but as usual, i'm not given all the info i need to successfully do my job, so i struggle to accomplish anything, which is more difficult now with a number of people trying to use up the rest of their vacation (as i will be doing from dec18-jan2).

Working. It's Monday and I didn't sleep very well last night. So, I've just been on the internet all morning. Oops.

Should be sellling ads, but that is a lost cause, as the music industry seems to go into hibernation in December....

So it's not just the automotive industry that goes into hibernation in Dec. either then huh? The CEOs are breathing down everyone's necks to sell sell sell, but hell-o, no one wants to buy ads at this time of year!

I think everything but retail goes into hibernation...that and service type jobs...I know anytime I've been on a campiagn during December, it is slow, and I have no problem taking a few weeks off.

Right now I should be reading, writing or making calls to people who can help me find a damn job...but I am doing nothing, save laundry and dishes, as I just got out of bed.

working, although work's calmed down a bit and probably will be slow until the new year.

Yes, I feel for those poor retail folks....

I have my bosses fooled. They think I'm working when I'm obnering around. I'm so glad I turned my desk so you can't see my screen from the hallway!

When I post in the late morning to early evening, I usually am working, which may explain why some of the posts are so damned weird. I've got newsroom computers on my right and the internet computer on my left, so it's back and forth, back and forth.

But yeah, working, sleeping, exercising, reading, etc.

The big one I avoid is being a patsy/straight man in my kids' increasingly complex and baffling games and playtime storylines, particularly the endless ways my son attempts to get money out of me when he sets up his myriad "stores" in the living room. He's a shyster and his nerve condition makes him exhausting. I hide on the computer by claiming I have important work to do.
