Cable Guy: "PopTodd...are you PopTodd?"

Me: "Nah, that's somebody else on this message board"

*Cable Guy stares at Wilco thread for almost a minute*

Cable Guy: "Hmm."

Now my cable box works again. 8)

But what did he have to say about my unintentional metal dildo thermos post?

Huh?

You fool. Now he's gonna go home and lurk, see that you're making light of him, and then as a form of revenge he'll stalk you and introduce your girlfriend and parents to porno password.

Now when our newest member, "The Cable Guy", registers we'll know who it is.

I bet that he will go incognito.

My guess for his screen-name: Phineas, the Dark Lord.

Did he identify the noisy pics and humbars in your reception and rearrange your major appliances?

I think its funny that your immediate response was to disavow that it was you.

He was just killing some time as we waited for one of his co-workers to remotely reset my cable box.

The internet was fine, but my cable TV service was broke-ass.

I e-mailed that picture from the other night of me, Tommy, Patrick, and Shawn to my wife, to "prove" to her that you guys aren't just my imaginary friends. I think she's finally leaning 60-40 toward believing me, but the 40 remains convinced it's merely an expert Photoshop job on my part. When she saw Patrick, she said, "Isn't that the guy from Smashing Pumpkins?" I didn't even think she knew who Smashing Pumpkins were, much less knew what Billy Corgan looks like! I told her that Patrick neither expresses rage, nor is he a rat in a cage.

That's funny.
Weird for me to think of.
But funny.

I had a sorta waking dream the other morning that someone came by to look at my house (to buy it), and scratched their head and said "wait, I recognize this kitchen - are you cap'n squirrgle?" To which I smoothely replied "No, what the hell are you talking about?!"
