I like how Sketchy Colin is so inordinately proud of his postcode and always puts as his location, London (E1), like anyone, even people like me who have been to London dozens of times, have a clue where E1 actually is.

In fact I like this so much I might emulate him by putting an ML1 in brackets any time I mention Glasgow.

Any strange little quirks you like about fellow posters?

well i guess it's not a quirk of the specific person, but i like that even though he changed his name to Quiche, and everyone even knows his name is Mark, people still say KoCF.

Dude, when you're in TW7 for two years, E1 is kind of happening. I mean, it's not Zone 1 or anything, but it's something.

East End, fool. WHAT?!?!?!?

I have always been enamored of epa/Dorkestra's "dig it".
Those who have had the privelidge to have met the man in person know that he frequently peppers his face-to-face conversations with that pithy little phrase, too.

And I love him for it.

I dig FT's quips, and changes of avatars, and Spoon's frequent change of handles.

i dig that billzebub can rattle off more bands that only hand-pressed 160 copies of their first 7" in their dad's garage than I can name "normal" obscurati, and then convince me why the B side to said 7" was actually the best thing they produced, and influenced that other band.

and his mix tape tastes are im-freakin-peccable.

and our politics are almost diametrically opposed, yet we are united in obnerhood.

*********

and i actually cook a lot of dorkestra's recipes, and then get to lovingly comment on how i gorged myself on feta-stuffed chicken breasts, or chicken curry, or whatnot.

*********

and the frostingspoon . . .

*********

and all y'all, for being my online family. i don't want to even pretend to play favorites here . . .

I am fascinated by the mongerer's vernacular, as fluently spoken by The Right Honorable Senator LooGAR, Yail Bloor, Rick Derris, and the other Dirty Southerners.

I love you all, but obviously have a particularly soft spot in my heart for all members of The Fracturnity (you know who you are).

Like PT, I also heartily endorse epa's "Dig it."

I like quoting other people.
I like Konstantin's grumpy observations.
I like how Spoon usually takes 3 posts in a row to really get his point across, instead of editing. Also, the rotating cast of avatars and names.
I like the ladies on this board (ayah, Charli, Aural, pumachik, SP, katie, BlueJay, etc.) and how we all have our very distinct voices but still back each other up when the boys get a little too bully-ish.
I like Radcliffe's sarcasm and wit.
I like FT's rallying manner.
I like the Georgia boyz just because I know where they're coming from most of the time.
I like the musicality and talent of our lot (epa, PopTodd, KPH, etc.)

There's tons more other stuff, but can't remember it all at this time...

I agree on the epa "dig it".

I like how FT remembers everything about everyone, but I wish he would bring back his quote of the week.

Yup, I agree!!!

I heart you all. The list would be way too long for me to name everything I like about you all. And that would require me to think, and it's Monday- I don't like to think on Mondays. :D

Now I've got three mentions. Score! Take that, Phil. ;)

There are far too many things I love about far too many people and I'm afraid I'd forget something and then feel bad.
