Because you could make the case that anyone opening a thread named that at work deserves what they get.

Yea, but simply having the word QUORN on the index page might be enough to set off some IT rules. I sure wouldn't click on it at work (or really at home, either) but I'm glad its gone.

IIRC, Cap'n got screwed because of stuff available on the board, not stuff that he'd opened.

It falls under the heading, "Is a site where people discuss their favorite quornography appropriate for work."

Once again, you should probably think about doing work at the office instead of reading Obner. It's just common sense.

That's what I figure. If you're going to be dick-all at work and reading message boards, you can't go blaming other people on the board for you getting in trouble.

Chances are your bosses are going to be angry regardless of whether the board has threads about quorn or threads about music. Either way, you're wasting company time.

well in trying to find out what it was, i went to www.quorn.com, and it turns out quorn foods are made with mycoprotein, from the fungi family - and a relative of mushrooms, truffles, and morel, that offers a strong nutritional profile and an authentic meat-like texture. MMM...deeelish!
