Obner Audioscrobbler group

There it is. Join it. Make fun of what everyone else listens to.

For those not in the know, Audioscrobbler logs everything you listen to (through a plugin for your audio player of choice). You can then rumage around the site and waste your time looking at what other people are listening, or something like that.

gonna join, but i warn you, i'll skew the entire group for the worse!

EDIT: yeah, i already skewed top songs & top artists will be similarly-skewed eventually... let me know if i should give myself the self-boot (or boot me if ya want)

EDIT2: now the artists have skewed. your guys taste in music SUCKS!

It'll be hard to take down Radiohead from the top spot, considering that if more people join, they'll probably push Radiohead's numbers even higher.

Audioscrobbler will never irritate you by asking you to rate songs, asking you what mood you are in or anything else like that. All it cares about is which songs you play.

Any time you feel like it, you can come to the website and check out your profile, perhaps try some of the suggested songs, see the suggestions from other similar people and generally marvel at what appalling music taste many people have compared to you.

Lately, stats have been updating in real time, but sometimes the servers can't handle the load and it might take a while for your songs to be added.

We're up to 7. Whoo! Err... I mean not enough!

Audioscrobbler has a new chart for users which indicates your top 10 artists for the week. Pretty cool. Weekly charts for songs and albums seem to be in the works.

So, you can connect Audioscrobbler groups to locations, labels and bands. Should we connect the Obner AS group with Obner members' bands, like Hop on Pop and Paper Airplane Pilots? Those two bands show up on AS, so why not?

Would there be any objections to this from people in bands?
