This game rules. It's taken me forever to beat Super Macho Man but I finally did and now I have to deal with these 4 clowns.

On the plus side, I've been racking up great TKO times for most of the other characters.

You're right. I saw the green man and though it was the original arcade version of Punch Out.

Is this game worth hunting down? I've been on a video game kick lately...

Yeah one of my housemates got a Super Nintendo from somewhere. I did have Super Ghouls & Ghosts but that game is beyond impossible to beat so I gave up on it and bought this instead.

It's definitely worth getting. I kicked Jak II and a second run-thru of Metal Gear Solid 2 on PS2 to the curb for this.

dragon chan is a fucking dick. i can't remember if i was ever able to get past him.

I only have Original Nintendo. Any other gaming systems are too advanced for me to comprehend.

yeah he was one of the most annoying characters. it felt great to beat the fuck out of him though.

bald bull was easier than i remembered, though i usually just moved out of the way when he did his bull charge instead of trying to time it and punch him.

i don't even remember a lot of these guys from when i originally played this so i must've really sucked back then.

I seem to remember this game. Is there a fighter who is nothing special except for brief periods where he'll twirl like a freakin' top, hitting you with tons of combinations? Might be thinkin' of another game.

I only ever finished this on an emulator so i could save it, otherwise it is damn near impossible because they only give you like 3 lives and thats it. Plus, once i did, it turns out i failed to collect some magical bracelet hidden on one of the levels, so i had to beat the WHOLE GAME again. That's some shit they call child abuse if they try to pass that off as a game today.

There's a few guys in the game that spin around like that but probably the guy most known for it is the above mentioned Super Macho Man.

Never played this version. I only played Mike Tyson's Punch Out on the original Nintendo aka the boxing game to which all boxing games are compared.

I still reference Soda Popinski whenever I'm talking about a real boxing match that involves the latest fighter from the East European bloc.

Yeah, I love Super Punch-Out. I blew through that game back in the day (which is why I can't remember most of the characters - it seemed a lot easier than Mike Tyson's). Got it on an emulator and couldn't get very far trying to play it with the keyboard. I wish I still had a SNES.

The James Bond game for nintendo 64 was easily the greatest game to play with a group of friends

old school punch out was so kickass. glass joe, don flamenco, bald bull....so many memories.

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!! was the best game NES ever put out. That and Dragon Warrior IV. I need to drag these out again... actually, I still have an Atari 2600, Intellivision, Coleco, Odyssey 2 and a Vectrex all collecting dust in my closet.
