The one that I have works fine. I just don't like how it's clear on both sides, because it gets fucked up easier.

I have no experience with dualdiscs but I dislike double-sided dvd's. Simply because of the tendency to get scratched, as already stated.

Plus, the more discs something has, the fancier it seems. A two-disc set seems cooler than one double-sided disc.

I dislike Dualdiscs so much that I bought the regular AND special edition of Songs For Silverman by Ben Folds because the special edition is not a Dualdisc. I put that disc in the regular ediiton case.

Well, you sure showed them! "This doesn't work! I'm going to buy another!"

I did the same, at least buying both, but only because the Dualdisc, my first test of this format, wouldn't work in any of the places I need it to. Took it back, got the book. Have listened to the album about 3 times since the week it came out, haven't even bothered to look at the DVD yet. Total waste of effort.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: The best way to make a statement about these ploys, be it Dualdisc or copy-protected discs, is to buy them and return them as defective (because they are) so the labels wind up with piles of returns. If you just buy and bitch, they're not going to care one bit - you still paid for it, and they still made their profit.

Do some of you not put your CDs back in the cases or something? In 14+ years of CD player ownership, I have never scratched a CD. <--- not bragging, just wondering why people are concerned about scratches

I do drink, but usually it's at someone elses house/apartment or a seedy bar.
