this movie has the potential to be completely asstarded and worthless, but I still think the show was pretty damned funny so i'm not ruling it out entirely. anyways, mtv has a new interview about it up here

saw this last night, fucking awful.

the state i was in, it shouldn't have been so hard to make me laugh.

most of the time I am a sucker for previews. They seem to make every movie look like it's going to be awesome(which is what they're designed to do) but I could tell this was the stupidest movie that has been released this year. I am surprised so many people went to see this movie.

it's getting enough credible positive reviews (minneapolis star-tribune, nyt) that i will see it out of love for the D. maybe today.

I wouldn't rate it above two stars, but compared to that other recent pic from Mr. Show alumni -- by that, I mean, Let's go to prison -- The pick of destiny is Casablanca.

Haven't seen this yet. Guess I'm not as excited about it as I thought I'd be.

i'm a jack black hater and this looks really awesome.

I think it made something like $3 million over the weekend and didn't even crack the top 10. I'll wait for it to show up on Netflix in January.

Busty and I are on the same level here.

There are a few good laughs, but it can't sustain the greatness of their half-hour show for an entire movie. Not to mention they recycled several of the same jokes from the shows into the movie. I'd recommend Netflix unless you are a diehard or just have some time to kill.
