Who is in his band?
I can't imagine that these stand up to the Maiden stuff.
Tell me more.

Never question Bruce Dickinson. I put my pants on ... one leg at a time. But after I put my pants on, I make gold rekkids.

Really , I dont think it was a core bunch over his 4-5 solo releases....I knw Adrian Smith contributed ALOT to em....

Stupid, I dont have em with me today.... http://www.screamforme.com/rereleases.htm
http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Cl ... albums.htm

Of all of them, "The Chemical Wedding" is the only one I'd put up there with any Maiden release....the others are not shabby though....I just love his voice....always have....

funny thing, I loved Paul Dianno's voice too.

i'm sorry, but who the fack made you the official tastemaker around here? At least Radcliffe admits to being condescending and has fun with it. You seem to dump on somebody's taste in most of the posts from you that I read.

Oh, I don't have time to be "obsessed" with ten bands right now. I am listening to a lot of:

Sleater-Kinney
Editors EP's
Suede
Pedro the Lion (always)
generally revisiting a bunch of my old stuff.

Hahahaha whoooaaaa, you need to calm down. When do I ever "dump on" anyone's tastes? Show me when I specifically criticize someone for liking something (which is NOT the same as stating I don't like a particular band or artist). I can't be surprised that someone likes My Chemical Romance? How do you know that I'm not the world's biggest My Chemical Romance fan? Maybe I was shocked to see that someone else liked them....you don't know.

i don't hold them in the same regard as say radiohead, sam cooke or jeff buckley but i think their songs are pretty catchy. i don't understand all the hate for this band, yet people will still stand by total shit like the new weezer album.

Riiiiight. I'm just callin' 'em like I see 'em.

When someone says, "Hey, I like Interpol." Then someone else says, "Interpol is probably the worst piece of crap on the planet." I pretty much read that as dumping on someone's taste. I'm not riled up, so please don't tell me that I "need to calm down".

I WILL admit that I'd listen to My Chemical Romance before I'd ever listen to a Weezer album. But that voice...something about that general pop-punk/emo voice just drives me insane. I can see why you would like them though, because I've even downloaded a couple of their songs in the past to see what they were like.

And the shocked sign really was because I was shocked, not because I was saying anything about your taste like some people are quick to accuse..

So when someone posts an Interpol thread (not even saying they like the band, just info on a new release), I can't go in and say that I think the band sucks, not pointing it at anyone? All I said was "Interpol is a fucking shithole of a band." That's dumping on someone?

Sure..

I think you are probably the poster who I like the most whose music tastes just run to the opposite side of the street to mine.

I don't know if I'm obsessed with ten bands, but I have been listening to a lot:
Ryan Adams
The Stones
New Pornographers
The Sleepy Jackson
Lucinda Williams
Rodney Crowell
Ice Cube
