Friday: Skipping Black Mountain at the Bowery. I know I'll regret it later on. Gonna see my buddies band, Goat Horn, at the Continental instead.

Saturday: Off to Long Island for my friends daughters 8th birthday party. BBQ and games, oh my!

Sunday: Yankees / Softball Playoffs. Then to my bddies house. His g/f scored him a copy of the Family Guy movie. woot.

--kids and i ate crap for dinner and watched wag the dog. they liked it.

saturday
--did a bunch of errands in town only to come home and find myself with my t-shirt on inside out.
--washed the goddamn floors, fed kids, then teased them mercilessly because i felt like it
--gave daughter her first driving lesson. it went well
--drove daughter around to her two pet sitting jobs
--went to a bbq where the people didn't pay attention to their 2 young boys starting a bon fire. the evening ended with us hosing down their tree and wooden swing set

--kids for dinner
--driving lesson, part two

Saturday night/very early Sunday morning -- being teased and wishing I could fuck the bejesus out of a certain someone. Goddammit, I hate it when someone leaves me hot and bothered. FUCK!

Friday: entertained sister-in-law, who just moved up here from the ATL. Evening ended with some topless hot-tubbing, but not with sister-in-law thank god (don't need That issue).

Sat: went around one of the lakes on my bike, behind jogging wife + friend. I don't jog. Then met Busty and Bustette for pitchers of beer, then sushi, then Ben and Jerry's.

Sun: Went with wife / sis-in-law, tubing down the wisconsin river for 3 hours, got sunbruned on my back dispite having 30spf on. Slept like shit.

Just be sure to space it out over a 4-hour period.

And we DEMOLISHED that sushi.

so sunburnt. and tired. not capable of thinking about anything other than how soon i get to hit austin and why in the fuck ws ted koppel talking about how good looking peter jennings was on the radio this morning.

highlight of my weekend was driving home at 9AM yesterday morning and almost getting struck by lightning twice. Just ripe with a hangover I went to Dairy Queen to get a burger on the way home. I go inside and order my food and while waiting in the empty restaurant the lady behind the counter sizes me up and says "rough night?" I just kinda looked at her and said "yeah, why, do i look it?" She just kept staring at me and says "yeah. you smell like it, too."

so yeah, i had a little laugh at that.

awesome. This makes me feel better about myself, as I sometimes wonder if I smell jobless, but nobody's ever told me as much.

Still recuperating from the nearly 14 hour road trip from Ontario. Not the best way to spend a Sunday.
