i miss those tightie-whitie clad cowboy go-go dancers already.

that said, this season sucked and not always in that good way. every episode had some hit me over the head with an iron dildo message.

those lesbians have always been gross and the fact that they're running away to canada so theie children can have a better life is stupid and pathetic. adios, eh hoser?

i thought ted was going to be murdered by that possesive freak. not because i hated him but i thought the show would end with some drama instead of just Draaahhhhma.

i'm at least glad brian and what's his face didn't get married. enough with the marriage stuff already.

one thing i will say is that while i've always had mixed feelings about the quality of the show itself i thought the half hour before the show was very touching. the actors talked about the fan response and how so many people in the audience were moved by the show because they felt so isolated and depressed and alone.

a lot of times i'm very jaded about parades and marches and all that stuff because i've been out for almost 30 years (anniversary date is halloweeen--what a shocker) and why bother blahblahblah but when i hear those stories of lonely frightened adults or the fact that the gay teen suicide rate is 40% higher than "straight" it reminds me of how far things haven't come and makes me glad that these things are still all going on.

i mean i'm not doing them.
i'm too busy taping the L word.
