Come on, man - it's the Hall of Fame Game. Fuck it that it's an exhibition. Man, the pomp of it, with the least tuneful high-school band in Canton entertaining before game and at the half, the z-grade celebritrons in attendance (I hear Jerry Mathers will be there this year),... It's the real deal, Holyfield.

I need to drink more often.

Ice cream maker? Jesus. I was lucky to get my chicken off the grill before the downpour.

never been there but it's on my list of breweries to see before i die. I really like the dogfish head beers, there has been only one that hasn't excited my taste buds and that was the au curant.

as far as the skull splitter, definitely glass, always glass. better to unleash the aromas. hmmm beer, hooray for beer.

i'm not really a fan of the chickory stout or the aprihop, although i can see where someone WOULD, they're both just packing too much of a fruit aftertaste for me. did you see that 40oz of theirs that i got a while back? it was really pretty damned good.

Chicory stout? That sounds godawful, but now I want to find some.

wait, you didn't say anything about lavender rum. that doesn't sound very piratey.

I like the Shelter pale ale, but the Raison D'Etre makes me not like to drink anymore.

and back to this game, the bears can't catch ANYTHING and the dolphins are helping as much as they can by doing less than my first girlfriend when we had snuggletime.

they're just lying there, you see.

nah i was still at the beach during the beer run and those assholes went against my holy birthday wishes.

is middle ages in new york? I feel like i've had it before.

Edit: I haven't had it, but I pick up one of those every time I go to the wine world in wilmington on my way to the beach. I might actually have to follow through on that the next time.

My thoughts on the game:

1. Someone needs to seriously shave Ricky's face, it's disgusting. And why'd he cut his cool longhair dreads? Doesn't he know about the Samson and Delilah story? I'm predicting he's going to suck big time this season, with or without the ganja, mon. I like how he said that through Yoga, he has successfully fought off any desire to smoke...yeah, right. Stick a fork in him, he's done.

2. Kyle Orton, the Bears' 3rd string QB out of Perdue looked good. Quick, mobile, and deadly with the long passes despite his one interception.

3. Madden needs to be put out of his misery already. I don't care how cool his video game products are, he is clearly unable to provide any interesting commentary about the game anymore. Is there an old folks home he can be bussed to?

4. Grossman, Muhammad and TJ are going to kick some ass this season. It'd be nice to see what Cedric Benson could do here too. Bradley made some great plays late. All of sudden, the Bears look like they have a core of capable receivers for a change. R.Johnson is one fast mofo but he needs better ball control.

5. I worry about the Bears' defense against the pass.

6. I miss Booker and RDub.

Bradley set the Hall of Fame game record for yards I think. Not that it's even important but he looked good.

yeah seriously, couldn't he at least take some of the hair off hiss neck and place on his cheeks where he apparently can't grow facial hair. As far as his dreads, he took the off because he said that defensive players would pull them out when he was in a pile.
