For you NY fans (from NME):

Quote:
NEIL YOUNG has confirmed the details of his new album, 'PRAIRIE WIND'.

The album which is released on September 26, will be preceded by two gigs in Nashville which are being shot for a projected film.

The shows take place on August 18 and 19 at the Ryman Auditorium, will be filmed by Young collaborator Jonathan Demme and will be screened later this year.

'Prairie Wind' was recorded in Nashville and California, shortly after the star had recovered from brain suurgery. Guests on the record include Emmylou Harris.

How many freaking albums has Emmylou Harris sang on in her career?

1000?

10,000?

A shiny new dime and a bucket of pride to he-who-knows-the-answer to this quandry.

They were going to release tickets to those two dates at the Ryman, but pulled the plug. I'm now on a "waiting list" to view the filming. I'd have to be "really quiet".

i enjoyed elements of Greendale, but overall there are some really weak tracks on that record. I usually don't erase Neil Young from my iPod but i erased Greendale.

rparis is right, you're not missing much.
