Has to be one of my least favorite beers ever.

Bud and Bud Light are tolerable. Bud Ice?

How is Bud Select? A bunch of my friends back home were drinking that the last time I went. Choices are pretty limited there so I was curious.

It's alright. Tastes even more like water than Bud Light, since its their low carb, low calorie beer. Its like a Mich Ultra or whatever.

I thought so too at first because of the whole Anheuser-Busch Select beer line, but basically it undercuts Miller Lite by a carb and a like 4 calories.

So, god help me, I just went to budweiser.com to investigate, and they make you PUT IN A BIRTHDATE before entering their site. I now have an icecream headache from trying to digest that unbelievable chunk of Stupid Logic. Because, clearly, if you aren't 21 years old, then you'd never be able to type a date prior to 21 years ago, ... and .. there's so much ... danger in seeing pictures ...... beer labels... barley ... children are ... future.

(brain explodes out ears)

i did that too, squirrg! you should read the Q&A - the number of times they use "crisp taste that finishes clean" exactly like that, in quotes to avoid being sued by someone who thinks it's a guarantee, is hilarious.

Just to make sure I wasn't spouting some lies, I did some research of my own and eventually went to the Anheuser-Busch website, which has product listings.

I wondered, briefly, if there was another site with actual info on it, but not long enough to dig for it.

I thought it was between Bud and Bud Light..and not bad for swillable beer.

See, but you miss the distinction between "beer that is guzzleable" and "beer I drink because I like the taste." You can't pour down 1345 bottles of Red Seal Pale Ale at a UGA game...Bud Light on the other hand...

Not that it's a night-n-day difference to your Bud Light, but High Life is my "coaster" beer, a term I openly steal from Jenny, the chick in the Decemberists. There's something about the Low Life that is both appropriately watery and yet without the flavor of pocket change you get in Bud Light.

budweiser is almost always the cheapest beer at the bar - if everything else is 6 and bud is 4, you know i'm reaching for the king of beers.

oh you pegged correctly, but only finer establishments carry pbr, whereas bud is ubiquitous.

I'd rather drink PBR than Budweiser. Bud Light I can tolerate if I have to but not Budweiser.

exactly. and it doesn't taste openly watered-down (Miller Lite) or like old pennies (MGD) and doesn't give me rampant diarrhea like Budweiser does.

I usually roll 3-4 double bourbons w/ Sprite or Ginger Ale..and then Bud Light, all right, all night.

Or whatever alse is available.

Also, Jaeger Bombs.
