For some reason I read that as Legacy of Blood and I almost shit myself with shock.

I'm working on answering this thread right now, but I might not post it until tomorrow.

Beck-Odelay, I guess. I've never been obsessed with Beck, really so I couldn't care.
Bjork-Vespertine
Big Star-Third/Sister Lovers
David Bowie- too much to consider for me right now.
Fugazi-13 songs.
Jesus and Mary Chain-Psychocandy
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds-Let Love In/From Her To Eternity
Nirvana-In Utero
Of Montreal-The Sunlandic Twins/Satanic Panic..
The Pixies-Doolittle
R.E.M.- Automatic For The People/Murmur. I love Radio Free Europe. :D
The Replacements-Let It Be. I like that one.
Sebadoh-III
Sonic Youth-Confusion Is Sex...
Spiritualized-Lazer Guided Melodies, now. Definitely
Stereolab-Margerine Eclipse
Uncle Tupelo-Still Feel Gone
Tom Waits-Rain Dogs
Wilco- Being There
Ween-Pure Guava, but that's a temporary thing.
X-Los Angeles

The Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique (I'd probably go with Check Your Head if I'm in a certain mood)
Beck - Mellow Gold + Stereopathetic Soulmanure
Big Star - Third/Sister Lovers
Bjork - Homogenic
David Bowie - Low
Butthole Surfers - Psychic...Powerless...Another Man's Sac
Cocteau Twins - Treasure

The Fall - I haven't heard most of the albums from the '88-'05 period, but I highly doubt they'd change my mind. I like Hex Enduction Hour and Dragnet about equally (Wonderful and Frightening World of the Fall is up there too.)

Fugazi - Red Medicine
Husker Du - New Day Rising
Jedi Mind Tricks - Violent By Design
Jesus and Mary Chain - Barbed Wire Kisses
Meat Puppets - Meat Puppets I
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - From Her to Eternity, I guess
Nirvana - Bleach
Of Montreal - The Sunlandic Twins
The Pixies - Doolittle

The Replacements - I've got to go with Let It Be, but it's been way too overplayed for me. I probably like Tim more now, just because I think it's harder to get tired of the songs.

Prince - Dirty Mind/Sign O' the Times
Radiohead - Amnesiac
R.E.M. - Murmur/Life's Rich Pageant (depends on what I'm in the mood for)
Sebadoh - Bubble and Scrape
Sonic Youth - Bad Moon Rising (I hope that one day I meet someone who feels the same)
Spiritualized - Lazer Guided Melodies

Stereolab - Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements or Dots and Loops, depending on what kind of Stereolab I want to listen to. I don't count complilations, but Oscillons from the Sun is fucking great.

Uncle Tupelo - March 16-20 1992
Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones
Wilco - Being There
Ween - The Pod
X - Los Angeles

I’ve purchased all of these:

Beck – Mutations
Big Star – Third/Sister Lovers
Bjork - Debut
David Bowie – Ziggy Stardust (still have a long way to go)
Cocteau Twins – Treasure
Husker Du – Everything Fall Apart (only one I really know)
Jesus and Mary Chain – Darklands (one of my all time favorite bands)
Nirvana – Unplugged In New York (only one I can really listen to)
The Pixies – Surfer Rosa
The Replacements – Pleased To Meet Me (only one I really know, and need to discover this band)
Prince – Purple Rain
Radiohead – OK Computer/Kid A
R.E.M. – (never cared)
SeBADoh – Bakesale (don’t know III)
Sonic Youth – Daydream Nation
Spiritualized – Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space (only bad album is Amazing Grace)
Stereolab – Own two albums but never made an impression (live they were amazing)
Wilco – Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Ween – Chocolate and Cheese (or was it that cover I liked best?)

Say what you want about Of Montreal, but 80s R.E.M. does NOT suck. Sonic Youth is one of my favorite bands. Sebadoh were excellent songwriters before their turn towards generic indie rock with Bakesale (although that album isn't bad, the ones that followed it were). The ONLY Wilco album I like is Being There, and most of A Ghost is Born. The others suck (ESPECIALLY Summerteeth).

What don't you like about Sonic Youth or (early) R.E.M.?

Ween is my favorite band that's still around, but I can see why some people don't like them, so I won't even argue.

Sonic Youth is boring pretentious shit. I own Daydream Nation, and have listened to EVOL and Washing Machine, and the only song I like is 'Diamond Sea'.

I don't really hate REM, just find them a little boring. I don't mind a few songs, but could live happily without ever hearing another note.
