The logic behind this is flawed. You're implying if you're fat then you don't like to walk. It's like saying if you like apples, then you don't like tomatoes.

Maybe they wouldn't be so fat if someone would just take walks with them. Maybe they just don't like walking alone which is what they'll have to do if you don't go out with them.

Somebody will walk with them and cry with them.

There used to be a guy who would run two ads a week in our personals. He listed himself at 6-4, 130 lbs. Now, I had a friend in college who was 5-11 and 135, and that mofo was skinny. I bet this prowler from the personals had to stay away from the drain while showering.

That would mean the guy managed to be 12 inches taller than me, while weighing only 22 lbs more. Figure THAT out.

I think he left a digit off, personally.

But, if that's the case, just be upfront about it in your ad. Don't try and couch it by saying you're voluptuous.

Not true. If you're a consistent walker, it'll definitely help. Of course, you'll need to maintain a healthy eating lifestyle at the same time.

Definitely. All the cardio I do doesn't put much stress on my knees, joints..etc. People don't realize how much damage the constant pounding of your feet on concrete or even a treadmill causes.

I big mac has 700 calories so I have to walk at 3 mph for almost 6 hours to burn that off. An extreme example - but you gotta do a lot of walking unless you are really, really limiting your calories.

Difference is though, Rodney, that your basal metabolic rate will also help take care of those calories along with the walking.

If you eat one 700 calorie Big Mac for your daily meal, you'll lose weight unless you are bedridden.
