You gotta be fucking kidding me. When did this happen? Did he trip over his dog and fall down the stairs or something?

This is the worst news I've heard all day.

I saw this and I thought of Spade. Sorry, Gar. The season looked like it had promise.

I think Kyle Orton is a better QB, now, anyways. Regardless, sure glad we didn't sign Jay Fiedler as insurance.

Honestly, if it was gonna happen, it's better it happens right now and we get someone still out there than it happening mid-season.

NFC North is still a weak division that is anyone's game...

Plus Grossman isnt as important to The Bears success as say a Mike Vick. (when Mike went down in that preseason game 2 years ago, there were honestly tears in my eyes).

Oh, and memo to Mike Vick: be careful out there tonigh bra: Them Ravens don't play.

I want to believe this but Orton is going to need more experience to do well in the NFL. Yeah, the potential is there from what we've seen in the preseason games but I wouldn't bet the house on him any time soon, even with Ron Turner's much improved offensive scheme. Any way you look at it, this is bad news for the Bears.

I hope that Angelo gets his ass fired for again not having a veteran QB on the roster in anticipation for situations like this. I don't have confidence in Hutch and Orton and Kittner are big question marks. I say its still not too late to get a proven QB now.

i really don't get why people say 'oh, it's fine, we got orton and he's lookin goooood!' the dude has played two preseason games against 3rd string defenses, come on now. but yes, if anything, it's good this grossman injury happened now.

It's blind hope... trust me! But, I do think Orton has better tools than Rex. Either way, we'll see how good Mushin really is. Now Benson has to get his ass in camp... we need all the weapons we can get.

we need to get someone with NFL experience

if Angelo fucks this up, he seriously needs to be dismissed.

Agreed. Angelo is a joke as a GM.

Time knock Bradley down a couple pegs on my draft list. I hope this doesn't screw his season up too bad.

Its strange how some people can be so talented, yet so injury-prone.
