i used to be all about albums, and judging artists by their album output and not on the strength of their singles, but in the past year or so, there have been jack all really good individual songs. So what are some suggestions for the best song of this year, thus far.

to start things off,

Okkervil River - Black

Black, Let it Ride, "Kiss You" by Alaska, and "The Plan to Stay Awake" would round out the top 5, but the best song of this year is hands down "Wait (The Whisper Song)" by Ying Yang.

Yeah, my end of the year mixes will probably be more interesting than my best albums list.

Already did one mix: http://www.obner.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=7187

I'll 18th "Black".

Also:
"Bleeding Heart Show"
"What A Wonderful Man" by My Morning Jacket
"Sister Jack" by Spoon
"Long Time Coming" by Bruce Springsteen
"If I Am A Stranger" by Ryan Adams

I've still never heard the Whisper Song.

Is it too dirty to play at Bingo?
