So my record's almost done

11 fucking hours in the studio last night...just three more vocal tracks and a couple of guitars and pianos and I can mix this and get this fucker out

nah, it's me and the drummer and other guitarist from Olde Style, but 8 of the 12 tracks are ones that I wrote.

You sound like you're almost half done...no, wait, you did not say drums, yeah, you're like 75% done (-24% for vocals).

I should clarify....8 of the 12 are almost completely done except for extremely minor tweaks and proper mixing/mastering, 3 tracks just need vocals, and one track needs two guitars, a piano and vocals.

Should have this fucker out by november or december

I was just giving you a generic hard time (as I would any musician claiming they are "almost done" with a recording).

I don't blame you....."almost done" generally means "nowhere near"
