I hate that everyone is picking the Falcons to win the South. Hate it, hate it, hate it.

You'll hate it even more when they make it all the way to the superbowl.

Oh, no. I've been a Falcs fan my entire life and am so pumped that we finally have an owner whos only goal is to get us a Lombardi Trophy.

That being said the Falcons have NEVER had back-to-back winning seasons in their 30 year history.

Thats why I hate being a fashionable pick.

That being said, I think our defense and running game will carry us over the top especially if Michael Jenkins can at least catch a couple passes.

i think that the eagles without TO would lose in the superbowl to any team that can score 9 points.

btw why would anyone make these predictions in July? There's this concept I've heard of called season-ending injuries that occur sometimes in preseason to marquee players...

Yes. They will.

I will stand by my pick 'til the Bengals lose in the playoffs, or win-out.

And, Rudi Johnson is the shit. (Any man that can not only live thru having a girl's name, [but] rush for a thousand yards, is awesome.)

Never met her either. But, she's another celebrity female name Rudi, and in this case, where Rudi is not a name assigned to her in casting. I do realize, though, that, given her ethnic background/origin, Rudi might in fact just be a name she chose for himself for when in America or among Americans (sort of like how the Chinese will have the name they use when speaking English, as well their given names).

Anyway, Rudi Bakhtiar of CNN Headline News. Or, was there. She's prolly on CNN International, now, or something.

Nice dopplegang.

Those Atlanta/Carolina games are gonna be awesome. Think they play each other twice in 5 weeks towards the end of the season including the last game of the season if I'm not mistaken. That could potentially be for the Division.

Julius Peppers is a goddamn animal.

Yea, they are usually good games. But if I remember correctly, Vick usually goes off on Carolina, and Atlanta owns them in recent memory.

And yes, as much as I hate to admit it, Peppers is a beast and I hate the fact that he went to UNC. Still respect him, though.

I do think that Carolina prefers to be under everyone's radar (eg two years ago when they went to the Super Bowl), but its kinda cool to see them get press like this.

Possibly. Though we may go into the season with a receiving corps of Michael Jenkins, Brian Finnerand, Dez White & Roddy White(R) plus this other rookie named Manger.....Not exactly world beaters but hopefully they can sort it out.

Besides Alge and Justin Griffith, Vick's favorite target has always been Finnerand anyway.

I'd personally like to see Warrick Dunn catch a few more balls out of the backfield--that dude is crazy when he gets in space.

Yeah, I'm not sure about him catching passes but I like the dude as a second option RB, especially on the goal line.

I think he can be more but the reality is that Warrick Dunn is a better (and surprisingly durable) back at this point.

Not a bad guy to have though if Dunn goes down. You know as well as I do that you have to have at least 2 good RB's these days in the NFL.

Warrick is actually here in Seattle today - but no sign whether or not he'll sign - personally I"m a little more interested in a quality DE or DT as we are looking a little thin there.
