My dad (the impoverished artist) was a lefty but I've been cursed with the less able right handedness.

I'm from that dark period when left-handed kids were "changed"when they started to school. I was "changed" in kindergarten, but only partially successfully. I do some things- write, bat (as in baseball), tennis, right-handed. Throw a ball, bowl, etc. left-handed. Oddly, I can play ping-pong equally well with either hand. And the red-headed kindergarten teacher is to blame for my deep mistrust of humans, in general.

My dad recently asked me this as he read in a hunting magazine it was somewhat related to eye dominance. If you were to look through a scope of any kind, what eye do you tend towards. I'm right eye dominant (but I'm nearly legally blind in my left) but I don't know if that explains the above.

I'm pretty much exclusively left-handed (write, eat, throw, golf, etc). I can use my right hand for some limited tasks, I've learned over the years to use right-handed scissors, for example.
