Whewwwwwwww! Only one more week of "two-a-weeks" and I'll be settling in for one night a week. The fallout from being good? I got offers to DJ and host a MNF Trivia night last night. I also have an open offer to MC a Falcons pre-game deal at the GA Dome. PEOPLE! I OWN A BUSINESS! I CANT DRINK VODKA AND INSULT PEOPLE AT YOUR BECKON AND CALL! Though it is nice to know that when the bank/federal gov. finally come and tell me and my pops to go away, I've got something to fall back on. Anywho.......

The Song Remains The Same - Led Zeppelin this is a damn fine opener!

Nice nice nice. If I were around for these, I don't think I'd even bug you much. I'd be 100% content to just drink, play bingo, and soak it in, which is a compliment.

These lists always give me some good ideas for my own mixes. I forgot about 'Doin Time' by Sublime. Great song. Nice to see some Poison in there too.

Keep talkin, jocko...spill about this here, quick. And remember my newfound fortune vis-a-vis Falcs tix.

Oh, and good sets. Is Big Daddy's still some kind of boohoo hang out, where people enjoy the actual music?

If I were there I think I'd have had to slap you for playing Bright Eyes in a bar. But I would have later felt bad and apologized cause there's lots of quality stuff there too.

It's something to do with A-Douche's massive Coca-Cola Football Town enterprise; honestly, I can't fathom working on a Sunday during football season. Same reason I'm shutting down Monday Night Bingo---enjoyment of football (and not for nothing, I'm thinking about making a wager or 20 this year) is more imortant than picking up some side $$$.

Big Daddy's??? Hmmm. Its ok. The whore bartender was shaking her ass but her voice grates me like fingernails on a chalkboard. The staff is all like 21 and cute. The patrons are honestly befuddled, but last night we did have the aforementioned Justin the Bearded Hippy and also Jeff From The Liqour Store (a dude from the old neighborhood who actually lived NEXT DOOR to the PAN house)

Damn fine playlist besides the Bloc Party. Of all the board's exploits, I think being able to attend one of your bingo nights is the one I'm most envious of.

This settles it; Yail's the top choice to DJ my move-in party.
Or at least kick a mix CD a bruva's way.

Though I'm shocked at the lack of "Lost In The Supermarket" and "Magnificent Seven".

"Lost In The Supermarket", I can guarantee you, will make it in next week. (my Rush comparison thing was not a swipe---I like both bands)

As to "Magnificent Seven"? I've actually never even heard Sandanista! (sorry Steve & other Steve(albion));

I've actually just recently (in my late middle age) begun to really appreciate how truly awesome a band that the Clash were.

As to DJ'ing your move-in? We'll see, put keep me posted.

I can hook you up with Sandinista if you're interested. I know most people seem to hate it or at least mildly dislike it, but I really enjoy the hell out of this album.

If I ever make it to Atlanta, I'll have to schedule it during one these get togethers. Sounds like fun.
