I'm pretty sure it's one of your avatars that's slowing the board down. The only threads I have trouble opening are ones you've both posted in.

if it's remote, try uploading it here and see if that changes anything. when i turned avatars back on, i had trouble opening this thread, and my avatar is hosted locally.
