Has anyone purchased or played around with a treo650? i'll probably wait for the windows mobiel powered one but still, any experience with it? anyone waiting on the sony walkman phone? any other top-flight useless doodads that you can't live without?

I've seen people use them blackberrys and they get high marks from the users.

Someone from my company test-drove a Treo for a while. He ended up with the T-Mobile Blackberry 7100t. Most of our Blackberry users are pretty happy with it.

i just don't dig the aesthetics on the blackberrys. too much messenger not enough phone.

And what's with all the free Blackberry shit? You can get one from Papa Johns with a pizza, some wings and a two-liter, or you can grab one from Merchant's/NTB if you put four new tires on your car.

I received a work-related Blackberry earlier this week, and so far I've found its 'pain in the assness' > its convenience.

The phone function is good, but I really miss the 'speakerphone' feature I had with my last phone. And while it's great for reading e-mails, the "phone number buttons converted to a QWERTY... keyboard" lettering layout renders any hopes of sending a quick response nearly impossible.

It's got web features I haven't even touched yet, but so far...meh.
