Link fixed!

Cheeky Sheffieldian pub-rock maestros Arctic Monkeys are another of Domino's current slew of signings. It makes me wanna drink too much whiskey, and drive way too fast.

Fans of The Libertines, Babyshambles, Razorlight, take notice.

This doesn't sound like it would be for me, but I'll check it out later.

I was really disappointed with that Be Your Own Pet song. The lyrics were fucking awful.

Well I mean I probably like a few bands that they rip off, but the "be my own damn self" part sounded so unnatural and like she forced as many "damns" as she could get in there despite the space actually allowed by the song.

I don't think that made any sense, but I'm not sure how else to explain it.

I asked you in another thread, but I don't think you saw it -- is that Ferenc record any good? I've heard good things and I almost picked it up yesterday, but I decided not to because I haven't heard enough from it.

didn't catch the other thread mention, but yeah, the Ferenc album is probably my favorite minimal/german techno album this year [until Mathew Jonson releases his]. The production on it is solid, and the tunes are slammin'.

So if you like that style, you're enjoy it I'm sure.
