But whenever there's a thread on this board on an artist I don't like, and I state that I don't like them (simply state it, and that's all), someone comes out and fucking attacks me every single time, and then of course all their "friends" come and back them up. How did I make a mistake? I was responding to all of their comments about "crunk rap". And I said that I wouldn't come out of nowhere in a thread and attack someone's music tastes. It's not like I showed up and said "HOLY SHIT, YOU GUYS LIKE KANYE WEST! YOU'RE A BUNCH OF FUCKIN' MORONS!!"

Why NOT post in a thread about someone you don't like? If you hate Animal Collective's newest album, for example, and you see a thread on it, you're telling me you're going to read the thread and not say anything about how you don't like it? Or how it's "not for you"? That's ridiculous, because people do it all the time. Like I said before, this is a place for opinions.

My sister likes Kanye. I didn't have the heart to tell her I don't feel the same way as her about his music when she asked if I heard his new single, because the last time she asked me about music I told her I hated Coldplay, Kenna, etc. (the bands she likes). She just seems to get sort of angry with me when I tell her I don't like what she likes. I don't know why she can't handle it. My mom gets mad too, when I tell her I don't like the Black Eyed Peas and Maroon 5. Oh well.
I'm not extremely into rap, but I know that this is something I can't really get into.
