In the series finale, David finally embraces a demon; Keith gives "tough love"; Nathaniel talks to his younger son; Claire gets an exciting phone call; Margaret is impressed to see Olivier's nurturing side and Ruth finds consolation in the truth from Maggie.

how will this brilliant series end? i can't wait to see.

Everyone will die.

edit: I'm afraid I won't be watching it on time tonight because MakesNoSenseAtAll wants to see the 40 Year Old Virgin. I do too, but I forgot it's Six Feet Under night. Damnit.

Can I still watch the finale, without having seen anything other than two episodes of season one?

oh boy... i'm thinking tonight might be the night to have a power outage in my apartment. my roommate unplugged my internet connection on friday and cut me off from digital cable a few months ago. maybe i'll let her see half of the show tonight and then i'll unplug the cable myself since the actual connection comes in through my bedroom.

honestly, i wouldn't watch it. this show is too good to ruin it like that for yourself. grab the series dvd's, and watch them in order.

trust me.

I know, but he doesn't like the show. He laughed through an entire episode we watched recently. I also don't like backing out on plans that are already made. Plus, I have OnDemand. I'll watch it when I get home from the movie.

Hell no. Don't do it. Take Dalens advice. Watch it from Season 1. I love this show and I don't know what i'm going to watch when it's over.

I just got showtime. Looks like Weeds could be my 6 ft under replacement.

Any other Weeds fans?

yeah, i thought of it, but then she'd probably have time to run to someone's house to catch the bulk of it. crisis averted, though. i came home and asked her what was up with the internet and she plugged it back in right away. i have a feeling she knew what i would've done cause it's been done before during critical shows like "project runway."

Just over an hour to go. I'm kinda sad it's comin to a close but I think it's a good idea to end it after 5 seasons.

This show really pushed the envelope the past 5 years with so many twists and shocking moments. Alan Ball and his writers were fuckin brilliant.

Also , don't forget to watch the Six Feet Special , " In Memoriam " . It's been on the past week and goes through the history of the show. Good stuff.

My prediction is that Arthur is gonna come back to the funeral home in a fit of rage , blaming Ruth for his downward spiral , and kill everyone at the dinner table.

I'll trust you. Along with cemeterypolka.

I'll make a point of renting the boxes, one season at a time... thanks-a-ton, for the tip.

Hey he's a good boyfriend. We both have sick senses of humor though. His being worse than mine, but still. I wish you guys understood like him I do, or even other people who actually know him, then you wouldn't be bitching so much about him.

Brilliant ending.

I think it's the first time i've seen something like it when it comes to a series finale.

Ruth is just a fucking downer but at leat you saw a little hope there
at the end.

I liked it. It ended well and i'm glad it's over.

oh and before someone asks...

Song at the end was "Breathe Me" by Sia. Nice choice music supervisor.
