i've been at camp. i only got one week left. i'm officially "home" on the 25th. but i think i'm gonna take a week off and go travel somewhere. probably just drive from portland, through san fran, to so. cal, and meet up with an old friend in arizona.

i'm supposed to be going back to school, but i have yet to register, the term starts on the 26th. i really don't know what i'm going to do, i'm not super concerned though. this summer has been most excellent.

and i'm talking about the Mountain Goats album.

I haven't listened to it since it came out. I may have to remedy that.

It's just that I'm always bombarded with him year after year as soon as one of my friends tells me about this "great new thing they've discovered"

I know I bring it up all the time. It's kind of a problem with me.

let's revisit it again, my favorite album from 2005 or whenever it came out after listening to it for a week straight.

I neglected to pick this up when it was released.

I need to remedy that.

It made my top 20 of 2005. The 10 -15 range, I think. It would probably be higher now, but it was a last minute purchase.

I like it a lot and I thank Postmersh for the rec.

I need to check this out...and really just check out more Mountain Goats in general. I've heard a few songs, and I'm sure it's something I would be in the mood for on occasion (definitely not always).
