One of our properties is the Hotel MTV and is literally headquarters for all the happenings outside of the awards show. It is in virtual lockdown to the general public from tonight until Monday morning. I will be able to have a pass to come and go at will, but :

1) I have no cable and have no idea what MTV is anymore
2) I wouldn't even recognize most artists except for those seen in recent nationally covered trials.

Other than being a fly on the wall to observe the self indulgent, is that reason enough to give a shit to check it out? I suppose, but who should I look out for. Honestly, I have no reason to go other than a pass that says I can.
