I'm gapping out over here. What was the name of the band that did the song with the lyrics....

"I know the secrets that you'll keep
when you're talking in your sleep"
?

The Romantics actually were a pretty good power pop band.

Their most recent album is dynamite. A far cry from "Talking In Your Sleep". "Devil In Me" is one of the best songs I've acquired this year.

And you can't go wrong with the "trash bag background" video they did for Talking In Your Sleep .

"Talking In Your Sleep" is OK.

"What I like About You" is not OK.

And yeah I remember somebody posting about how good the new album is.

"Talking In Your Sleep" is crap.

"What I like About You" is classic.

Their debut album was fair-to-middling power pop, with "What I Like About You" the stand out (naturally, it was ignored until two decades later). Everything after that is pretty weak - although this new one sounds like it could be interesting.
