Cincinnati Head Basketball Coach Bob Huggins, a dude who hasn't had a player graduate....EVER is about to get axed.

I mean he's dirty and all but I always kinda liked the guy.

I've heard he's a pretty big lush as well.

As a Georgia fan I can say that no, he will not get a pass. The circle is reserved solely for Harrick to burn for eternity.

He will, however, be able to play checkers with former player/douche bag Tony Cole from time to time when he's not in jail. I say checkers because Tony is too stupid to play Chess.

oh yeah, he also got my aunt to keep it quite when she busted a former player/nba all star shoplifting some shirts from the university bookstore, which she was managing at the time. i LOVE coach huggins and UC basketball in general.

It is not a fact, but total bullshit.

The graduation rate is low, but primarily because that stat is based on entering the college as a freshman, and continuing to a 4 year degree. Cincinnati is known for having their team be made up primarily of junior college transfers who do not count in this statistic, and whom most have gone on to graduate.

I always thought Huggy Bear was kind of a "meh" coach...He had the Kansas State Syndrome of doing well during the year then having his team shit the bed when it counted.

From what I have heard, academically, UC is a pretty good school.

They have the #2 architecture program in the country which is what I mainly care about. Since that's what I graduated in. :D

(I also just read that over the last 4 years Cincinnati has graduated 11/18 of it's seniors, and one more is set to graduate this winter.

Has anyone read the text of the letter?

It's long so I didn't post it.

Summary:
The university stated his contract would not be exteneded.
Bob agreed to fulfill his final 2 years.
His lawyer petitioned the university to extend his contract, since Bob working there with an end date in sight was "not good for anybody"
So the university is giving Bob an out with some options through this letter.

It sounds like the university is actually being pretty good about it, since his lawyer (and I am assuming Bob) thought it would be better for everyone if he got out sooner.
