Color and the Shape and There is Nothing Left to Lose are both really good. The first album was so-so and I think One By One is pretty lame. I read that after working with Queens of the Stone Age Dave G. changed the sound of the songs. I bet they were better originally.

Love 'Everlong'. 'Hero' is good but was over-played. I can't believe the same guy that wrote those songs also wrote, "fingernails are pretty, fingernails are good."

I loved me some Foo until that most recent piece of crap they released. I'd like to see them return to their original sound, but I'm afraid they will continue in the same vein as that last album.

I agree with this sentiment. Fortunately, Grohl has already returned to form with his most excellent Probot album. It is a must-have.

"Learn to Fly." Also, you can't leave off the other half of The D, KG. He was in that video too.

I once heard a really great acoustic version of that song and was blown away by it. It was a great song before, but its so much better in that version.

Their best album was the one with that song from Ed, the TV show. I think it was the opening theme song.

Wasn't that Clem Snide that did the ED theme song?

Both the Clem Snide song and "Next Year" off of the Foo Fighters "There is Nothing Left to Lose" were theme songs, but I can't remember which one was the original theme song.

My favorite Foo Fighters albums:

1. "There is Nothing Left to Lose"
2. "The Colour and the Shape"
3. "Foo Fighters"
4. "One By One"

Yeah, the D were in Learn to Fly, but I think chuck d is talking about the not-shown-on-MTV video for Low, where Dave and Jack check into a motel room, strip down to women's underwear and run amok.

Hmm, I missed that one. Sounds interesting though.
