Sonny was the brains and organizer of his show and Cher was just along to make snide comments and enjoy herself.

Whereas, Lachey seems to actually be the long-suffering, henpecked and baffled husband that Sonny only pretended to be for the sake of his act.

If I were Lachey, I would have convinced her about fifteen minutes after "I do" that even though sodomy is forbidden by god's law, it's still the only true method of avoiding pregnancy, which prevents abortions, so it's a-ok.

I don't have anything against Sonny, hell, maybe I even admire him a bit. I'm too young to actually have seen it in it's heyday, but the show itself still reeks of lame.

It's also Lachey's parting-the-waters bid for his own sitcom. Without Simpson. He was on a handful of Charmed episodes this season to get a little acting notice (not that he mattered, cuz he didn't) and was negotiating for his own show. Using these other things as leverage.

It sure is! The Canadian chick who's the "lead" female (the fugitive) is one of the best looking women without make up I've seen in years. But Hurley owns that show.
