Consensus always says Radiator, but I say either Guerrilla or Mwng.

This is the only one I've heard, but nothing on it stacks up to "The Man Don't Gove a Fuck," which I guess is a single?

It's a single that's available on the Outspaced b-sides collection. But it's a song they're pretty famous for. They close their shows with a 20-minute rendition, which usually ends with a pretty cool electronic freak-out.

Guerrilla.

"Northern Lites" is the best thing they've ever done, and they'll never match up to it.

Very, very spotty band, but good nonetheless.

Yeah I thought that was pretty awesome the first time I saw them. I liked theTotal Recall sample.

Guerilla

Radiator is pretty close.

I have most of the B-sides on mp3, but I don't listen to them enough.

I was conflicted between Guerrilla and Radiator and chose Radiator because of its awesome cover art.

Put me in the Radiator camp with mwng being their second best.

np: Muse - Origin Of Symmetry (Have I mentioned that I own just about every Muse single as well?)

The first one I ever heard is still the best, but I'm kind of hard to judge (or perhaps I'm a better judge): I picked up everything before Rings... at once, more or less.

Fuzzy Logic – Cocaine

Radiator - LSD

Guerrilla – Ecstasy

Mwng – Mushrooms

*Rings Around the World – Hard to say but respect this album because they had Sony’s money and they spent it on the studio. First album ever to be release as a 5.1 DVD on same release date as album.

Phantom Power - Pot

Love Kraft – A lot more Pot

*posted before Dusty's replay (damn i's). yeah, Rings is a special album. On the other hand Phantom Power, which i didn't think i liked, is unbelievable. That's the other thing that makes this band is that it's always different.

Are these your analogies or what they were actually taking at the time?

I like 'Fuzzy Logic' best but as usual I plough a lone furrow.

Radiator for me.
I know it's the "consensus", but in this case, I think the majority happens to be right.
Probably Outspaced second. Even though it isn't a "proper" album, it' sbetter than the proper albums most bands are releasing these days (or most other days).

Best.
Band.
Today.
Period.

I've never owned an SFA album...which one is the consensus; "best introductory album"?

Thanks

Probably Radiator.

And even though BeeOK was making an analogy, I think the band is pretty notorious for flirting pretty heavily with pot and alcohol.

Among other things. I've read that they're pretty heavy drug users in general, which is why I asked.

There's an on-the-road in America thing on their Songbook DVD. Most of it consists of the band smoking and speaking unintelligibly. It's really weird.
