Rejoice, Atlanta. You won't have to sit through watching that piece of shit try to catch a ball any longer.

This probably helps his fantasy football value. That offense didn't suit him whatsoever. He would have had another turd year with Atlanta.

Damn, ninja. Good thing he got DAT signing bonus.

Peace the fuck out. I hate Volunteers anyway.

Nice. ATL gives up two 1st rounders and 20 million (or thereabouts) and then lets him go two years later.

Strong work.

Dude, they cleared 2 million off their salary cap and they only throw to Alge Crumpler anyway.

Redskin is my guess, Eagle in close second. Raiders not too far behind either.

Dallas is also a possibility.

Yeah, it saves us 2 million this year but will hit us next year....I guess its just one of those things----dude was never going to work out here.

I wish we had the $$$ to go get Corey Simon to shore up the D-line.

I dunno, Chase, do you think it's worth it to take a flyer on P-Dub? I've not really seen him play much since the FSU days and I know he is coming back from a knee. Did him getting cut have more to do with this "performance bonus" or did they just think he was garbage?

Dude. What!?? Come the fuck on.

This has been the ONLY bad move that Arthur Blank has made. He took over a team that hadn't had a winning season in about 4 years, we needed a receiver badly. Peerless was coming off his best season ever and he was the best available WR at the time. Yes we overpaid but nobody knew that he would be such a fucking bust.

Nothing is 100%. Who knew that Peyton Manning would be one of the premiere QB's in the league and Ryan Leaf would be such a spectacular flame out.

Blank brought in Rod Coleman, re-signed Keith Brooking, Warrick Dunn, TJ Duckett, and so on. Oh yeah, and he ponied up the money for Mike Vick, who as it turns out is pretty good.

He and Rich McKay have made this team into a perennial(sp?) contender.

Bye Peerless, don't let the doorknob hit you in the ass.

I think the Eagles before the Skins. Unless Jacobs' injury is worse than they're letting on, I don't see Price going to the Skins in order to compete for the #3 slot behind Moss and Patten. I don't think the Skins freel that pressured at WR, given that they let McCants go so soon--they've also got a huge sleeper in Cooley at TE.

This is pretty funny (from ajc.com)

Quote:
Price was told before practice and sped out of the parking lot at team headquarters in his BMW just as the team was beginning to stretch for the day's drills.

"I hate y'all," Price said to an AJC photographer, before hustling into his car without further comment.

This article also mentions the Titans as a possible suitor.

Yeah but they've got Bennett and Calico at 1 and 2 if I'm not mistaken. Calico should be a future stud if he can stay healthy.

ok, that peerless quote is hilarious. also, calico is still hurt, so that makes sense. still, the first team that came to mind was Philly when i heard about this. make him kill himself over the middle, no big whup.

Re: Pete Warrick: it sounds like Big Marvin didn't feel like pete was giving his all in his rehab, and he was going to be third option anyway, so when he asked to be released Marv replied with his standard answer to people who want to be somewhere other than cincy: "You're released!". i love that man and god as my witness were we in the joint together i would hold his pocket for what he's done for that team.

i would think he would want to go to philly, since it's the one team he can be sure will stick it to the team that dropped him.

he'll reseave no such pleasure with the skins or cowboys.

I almost drafted Warrick, on a hunch that he'd explode this year...
