I picked the Delays, too because I've got the first two. Uh, just in case this CD is for me or something.

I'm withholding my vote, since I haven't heard any of them much. But what I've heard of Sondre has been pretty boring, and I doubt I could get through a whole album. I always have trouble when I try to get into bands like the Cure, too, so I'd probably go for the Delays. I know a few people around here really liked it when it came out. I mean, Dalen liked it cause its British (:ass:), but I think some other people thought the music was good.

I voted for The Cure only cuz you can get The Delays for REALLLY cheap. It was a tough call being that I just saw Sondre Lerche last night and am still feeling the afterglow of his charm.

i never understood background music.
why play music you don't really hear?
I think it's just to make those awkward silences not so silent. ;)

I've been through all of their "Modern Rock" CDs about 3 times and, of what I don't already have, these are the only ones that caught my eye. I could go through the other sections too but it seems like a lot of effort.

The Lerche is very good. It will make my Top 20 for 2004, and perhaps even the Top 10. I find it neither boring, nor background music. It's not balls-out rawk or anything, but every now and then, pleasant melody suits me just fine.

Why don't you pick something that's creative in any way. Hell, if it's your last selection you may as well.
