I just had a pain in the ass of a time trying to get gas here in ATL. Gas stations are totally dry. Seems that they are expecting prices to jump extremely high just in time for the weekend.

Perfect timing. People will be driving more for the holiday weekend.

Some predictions have prices going to $4 due to Katrina.

Others have it going to $3.50 and staying that way for at least 6-9 months.

I'm so glad that I have a 25 mile commute ONE WAY everyday!

Remember the good ole' days when gas was 2.20 a gallon? A hybrid is looking like a pretty damn good investment right about now.

Yeah my drive to school this year is about 25 minutes there and back so we'll see how that goes.. and also this means my record store shopping will be cut down to once every few weeks if prices really raise that much. My work wage isnt going to raise and gas prices keep getting higher so now half or more of my paychecks will end up going in my gas tank. Fucking ridiculous.

I can honestly remember filing up my 79' chevy truck (back in my truck days) with $ .89 a gallon gas.

Considering all the driving I do, I should have a freakin' company car, but I get it all back when I turn in my expense reports anyway.

I walk across the street to work everyday, but I'm driving to Charleston this weekend. Son of a biscuit eater.

My wife was all about getting a Rav4, but it looks like she wants a Honda CR-V now.

Not really an option for me but I have definitely been cutting down on how much driving I do, trying to keep it down to one fillup a week.

But if what Harry Monster is saying is going on, I'm gonna go ahead and fillup this afternoon after work.

Awesome. I had a 1984 Ford Ranger, shit brown paint job. I got rear-ended three times and only lost one license plate bulb and had a scratched bumper sticker.

You might want to get a model with basket on the back so you have a place to put your purse.

Also you could trick it out with a big orange flag and vinyl multi-colored streamers coming out of the handlebars.

i wouldnt go that far. even at 1.40 more per gallon - to 4 bucks, it will cost me about 45 bucks more per month - i think i can survive that.
