Wow, the outrage! Why the fuck do yuo care so much if Walmart is getting looted is my question? Are you CEO? Is this REALLY something you care about so deeply that you think it's reasonable to shoot people who have had everything else in their lives wiped out? Let's get some fucking perspective here, can we?
Yes, stealing is wrong. No, it's not high on my list of problems to be solved in New Orleans.
For Christ's sake...
It's not about Wal-Mart, dipshit. Maintaining some sense of order in disaster area is probably going to help this bitter pill go down a little easier. Just because your shit's been flooded is no goddamn reason to act like an asshole.
Let's say it's not Wal-Mart. Let's say I'm Mr. Schwegman, who is plenty wealthy but still a "target" of Wal-Mart's orchestrated policy of destroying local businesses. If his store gets looted, is that still sucking up to the corporate titty?
Or better yet, let's say it's a jeweler on Canal Street who has his inventory wiped out at the hands of looters. Now, since he scooted up to Shreveport to avoid the storm he is unable to defend his store which is no not only flooded and destroyed, but all his non-perishable merchandise is totally gone as well. Am I a big fucking corporate lackey for saying that the behavior of those thieves is totally and unequivocally wrong?
