$2.63 here. Filled up and didn't wait in line.

Girlfriend paid $2.62 in Boise and waiting 15-20 minutes in line. she drives my car 100 miles a day round trip to work. As crazy as this sounds were going to have to come up with a formula to determine when it's more cost effective for her to quit instead of making the commute. I'm guessing at $5.50 a gallon.

It's like $2.79 in Lincoln, and we are always high for the state, even higher than Omaha.
I think the Farmers would start using their Right Wing Freedom dollars if gas was $3.50-$4.00

oh, and next week i have to work in our la office. that's just going to be a lovely commute right there.

thanks fuckers. as if i wasn't already broke enough.

EDIT: oh yeah, i remember when $10 filled my civic and i could drive for DAYS. those were some awesome times.

I rode my bike to the video store (Videodrome on N. Highland) a few hours ago, and Buddy's on the corner was selling regular at $3.99.

Well, maybe in the coming weeks I'll get in better shape/lose some weight. I definitely won't be driving as much.

I'm just glad the weather is nice, and I have a bike. I'm gonna avoid the gas stations and try not to worry about this for the time being. Everybody freaking out and trying to get gas at the same time is just gonna fuck things up worse, obviously.

However, my folks were planning on coming into town for a visit this weekend, and my girlfriend had planned a beach trip with her friends. We'll see how those work out.

What he said, except for the folks and girlfriend part.

I have 5 of them. I collect 50's & 60's scooters. They won't cut it for my 60 mile commute one way.

Thank god for the bus.

That is a nice ride. I miss my 86 F150. only had 105K miles when it got totaled. I ended up getting a quad cab nissan pickup. The lil lady wanted a quad cab with the upcoming kid.

I've only had it for 7 months and may get rid of it. Supercharged engine eats way to much gas.

Waiting for Honda to come out with a hybrid element

It's already $3.09 over here in Cleveland.
Time to leave the middle-class suburb and join the rest of the city.

Remember the good ole' days when gas was 2.20 a gallon? A hybrid is looking like a pretty damn good investment right about now.

i remember when gas was $1.29 a gallon for 91 octane and how annoyed i would get when it went to $1.36! it was only a few years ago.

i'm glad i take the subway now. no gas, no insurance, no worries about falling asleep on the freeway.

Your neck of the woods looks like a gas pump.

Damn, where was that? I checked 3 places near me - 10/Washington, and the 2 on Columbus heading towards Ikea. 10/Washington was the cheapest (for the first time ever, it's usually expensive) at 3.19.
