Tuesday --- > 2.699 / gal

Today --- > 3.199 / gal

Fifty cent mark-up, BEFORE the supply which should have been interrupted would have even been delivered (had it not been interrupted).

Can you say taking advantage of a situation?

By 2010, gas will be averaging 8$US.

He's stalking me...

But did you know it was 2.85 in the town over? Or 2.99 across the Mass. border?

This my friends is why I'm happy the Seattle area has this website:
http://www.seattlegasprices.com

People submit prices they paid/saw and the time that they saw them and that way you can theoretically find the cheapest gas near you.

Currently gas is $2.73 a gal at the nearby Costco which is fairly consistently $.15 to $.20 less a gallon than other areas

Up here they're giving gas away with the purchase of a newspaper, because we're communists and we hate America.

Everyone gotta have a hobby.

I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a way to blame Canada for New Orleans yet, but we're working on it.

Probably something to do with Canadian Tire.

It's not just Seattle. Plug in your state in front of gasprices.com and you can get local info.

My mother just said she filled up at $2.97 here.

Isn't Seattle a city?

gas seems to go up a full dime every couple days, no 2-to-3 cent middle steps. the cheapest is at $2.79 now. i predicted the avg would be $3.20 by the end of dumya's term -- it's gonna exceed that -this year-. awful.

No change in the last 24 hours in LV, which is pretty amazing, considering the usual opportunism in this town. Hi-test ranges from $2.95- $2.99/gal. Regular is about 20 cents less.

According to a friend of mine in Orlando, gas went up 30 cents a gallon in a 2 hour period yesterday afternoon, and there was a buying panic. Also, the county board of education announced that they cannot get diesel for the school buses, and are discontinuing bus service until further notice. Not school, mind you, just transportation for the kids to get there and back.
