they lost those two stud backs, but I think they're still sposed to be pretty decent.
As well as their qb on offense. Not sure about defense. They are preseason 15 or 16 from the polls I have seen. If Reggie Ball plays decently and gets the ball to Calvin Johnson, I can see Georgia Tech beating Auburn again tonight. Tech's D is usually good because of their DC, Tenuta.
what's your spread on this VAtech-State game, homeboy?
We are 5.5 point 'dogs.
We are at home, against defending ACC Champs and have a stout defense. Vick is still unproven and the Tech o-line isn't the most experienced (they converted a TE to o-line about 2 weeks ago to face our AA Mario Williams). If Vick doesn't beat us on foot when we get into the backfield, he might be in for a long game (last year we had 10 sacks vs VaTech).
Our offense should be more consistent this year with our o-line healthy, Jay Davis with more experience and an OC that knows what he is doing. I see it being a close game, but I think we have a very good shot of taking it.
