hey everybody... i'm participating this weekend in the chase crew for a hot air balloon, and i'm looking to put together a mix of some good car chase music, particularly of the uptempo blaring horns variety (think bullitt, theme from ironsides, etc.) drop some knowledge on me...

The Pixies - Cecilia Ann has always felt like a car chase song to me.

The lack of uptempo blaring horns should not be held against "Eastbound and Down."

i feel like the more bluegrass you can round up for this, the better. You could pretty much throw any Flatt & Scruggs collection in there and you're doin' okay.

James Bond and Mission Impossible themes. Tuatara'a second album, the name escapes me right now, but it all sounds like good chase music.

I'm pretty sure all three have been at one time or another. I've got Totally Religious on disc, everything else is vinyl.
