Oh yeah......

#1 baby. Promotion is a real possibility. I hope Joe Royle can keep their form up.

Your teams suck.

as long as man city keeps shaun wright phillips, theyre definately on their way up. plus, rangers are leading the spl. im a happy man these days! im not as happy about carlisle united, who are second. in the conference. theyre the second best team in non league football. yay!! as far as ipswich goes, i am kind of a fan because craig forrest used to play there (probably the best player canada has ever produced) and jason de vos plays there now (who if i remember correctly, is the captain of the canadian national team right now). but its been proven before, if you dont make MAJOR changes when you get promoted, youve got no chance. ipswich has been through this before. hopefully theyve learned their lesson.

I moved to England when i was 4 (1892) and lived in Stowmarket in Suffolk for over 4 years. I've got pictures on me in a full Ipswich Town kit for my 5th birthday.

I moved back to the states in late 1986 and moved back to England (Bicester - 20 miles northish of Oxford) in 1989.

For my college graduation present from my parents sent me and my sister (i still don't get that, i better half of her graduation present when she's finished....it was great, i wouldn't want to go with anyone else) to england. It was the summer they won promotion to premiership. When i got back and moved to idaho i was able to finally keep track of the premiership with Fox Sports and even got to see a few ITFC matches on the telly.

Long story...sorry.

Stowmarket is a miles north of Ipswich. I love Terry Butcher.

When they were promoted in 2000 they didn't make many changes and qualified for Europe in their first season up.

Me too.

He's the coach of my team, Motherwell FC, and doing a pretty good job of it.

Opa - they've been quite impressive this year. they had a great streak going for awhile.

i too remember the days of QPR in the first division. I even have a sticker book from the 1985-6 season with QPR.....and John Barnes with Watford.

nice man. i spent 2 weeks in and around Ipswich staying with a friend. loved the place. we'd go to this killer record store there and buy drum and bass (Redeye Records), and go down to the city centre and people watch. nice little small town. from Ipswich, we made our way to the coast to get the ferry to Hoek Van Holland.

we also stayed at a beautiful little B&B. the people that owned it were amazing, (they'd even go out and get us chips & lager!). it was on a corner, and can't think of the name this second.

i swear i went to the same record shop in 2000. after hitting that shop we walked into the town square area where i went on to have a shepards pie and a pint at 10AM.

after staying with our family friends in stowmarket we made our way to Glasgow. There we noticed that DJ Krush was playing Aberdeen the next night. My sister and I hopped on a train and had one of the best nights ever. Krush almost stepped on my toes when the opening dj's were on. my sister laughed at how excited i was to be so close. He ended the night with "welcome to the Terrordome". I often tell this story. sorry if you've heard it before.

Ipswich was able to come from two goals down to secure a point on the road.

I've got to hope that Preston came steal three points from Wigan.

Ipswich moves to the top of the table.

I heard that Motherwell may have slipped up a bit but you have to credit them with taking 6 in a row.

Go Ipswich. Good god they better make the Premiership this year or Ipswich may lose Darren Bent.
