 Post subject: Gravenhurst - Fires In Distant Buildings...quite a change

Who woulda thought these folksters had the rock in them, but damn do they. Gravenhurst bustin' out the power chords, oh yeah! Good to hear as well.

They've still got the folkier, acoustic moments that many loved on their previous releases as well. Great to see Warp Records behind this band, and great to hear they're progressing. It's released 10/24/05 on Warp.

Here's a track that represents their newer sound quite well. PM if you want the album.

I just listened to this and really liked it a lot. I think 'Animals' is a stand-out track for me.
