Rockin' little tune it is. I'm hoping this album is a bit more upbeat then long gone.

i really want to care so much about this. there was a time when i saw the cardigans twice in 3 months and i would have let nina dribble her weird sweede snuff juice down my chest. however nowadays the Acid House Kings fill the void whenever i feel like i'm going to pull this out:

I had Life and First Band.. for the longest time until I got rid of them a couple of years ago. Was recently asking myself if I missed having them and concluded...no.

Nice little band, though. Hope their new album is a winner.

Yeah I heard about this recently and was surprised. I love Emmerdale, Life, and 1st Band on the Moon. After that they have been sketchy. But this new album looks a little more sassy...

I also have Life and First Band....but Long Gone was pretty blah to me. Hopefully this makes up for it.

yeah--these 3 are all solid. But I think I give the overall edge to Emmerdale.

What I like about them so much is that each album is different. Well, Life and First Band were kind of similar (bachelor pad/loungey). Gran Turismo is my favourite, being as it's their most edgy/alternative. And Long Gone... was okay if you're into that Jim White/Devics/et al kind of mood.

absolutely. i went through a phase where i listened to first band on the moon obsessively. Unfortunately, the last time I saw them they fucking blew, it seemed like they wanted to be a country band, which I wasn't down for.
HOwever, this track rocks so I have high hope that the rest of the album will too...
